The role is within a busy production environment, offering strong and regular overtime and long-term career stability and progression.The RoleReporting to the Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical plant equipment, working closely with production to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to schedule Responding promptly to electrical breakdowns and fault-finding efficiently Ensuring all work is completed in line with current electrical standards and HSE legislation Working within safe systems of work and conducting appropriate risk assessments Supporting plant improvement projects, installations and upgrades Accurately recording maintenance and repair activities Collaborating effectively within the engineering team to improve plant reliability Managing your own workload to maximise machine availability Candidate Requirements Must be apprentice trained as a Maintenance Electrician Recognised and accredited electrical qualifications and ideally be 18th edition trained.
