This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic looking to move into the specialist world of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). You must have experience in GSE, HGVs or Plant. Full training will be provided to develop your skills and enable you to work on Ground Service Equipment at Gatwick Airport. Working as a mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of ground equipment used airside, including towing tractors, aircraft tugs, baggage elevators and other specialist vehicles. Using your existing mechanical knowledge, you will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and complete preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable and operational.
