Working as a Sister in UCC you will provide day to day responsibility within the Urgent Care Centre services within the hospital, providing a visible and authoritative presence in a clinical setting. You will provide and strengthen clinical leadership within defined areas by acting as a positive role model, who practices evidence-based care, to ensure high standards of clinical care. As the Sister/Charge Nurse in UCC you will prioritise nursing needs, recognise and escalate patient deterioration promptly, while maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.You will demonstrate clinical skills under the direction of the Ward Matron, promote high-quality nursing practice, and foster positive relationships with staff, other departments and visitors to support good morale within the unit.
