Our client, a world-leading manufacturer of precision engineering and metrology solutions, is looking for a Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is based across Woodchester and Miskin and offers the opportunity to lead a large assembly operation within a highly advanced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for managing production teams, driving operational performance, and ensuring products are delivered on time, to the required quality standards, and within budget. Key responsibilities of the Production Manager job based in Woodchester and Miskin: Lead and manage an assembly department comprising Production Supervisors, Production Operators and Material Control personnel, with overall responsibility for a team of 50-70 employees.Create, implement and monitor production plans to ensure customer demand and business objectives are achieved.Work closely with international subsidiaries to ensure customer requirements are met and future commitments are clearly communicated.Ensure compliance with all Quality Assurance procedures and investigate product or process non-conformances, implementing corrective actions where required.Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering teams to support the introduction of new products and manufacturing processes.Provide monthly performance reports against departmental objectives, highlighting successes, challenges and improvement initiatives.Manage departmental budgets and control operational ..... full job details .....
