If you''re a dedicated Pastoral Support Worker passionate about providing crucial emotional and behavioural support to students with special educational needs in a nurturing mainstream environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.In this vital role, you''ll be instrumental in supporting students with SEN, helping them navigate emotional and behavioural challenges within a mainstream primary setting. You''ll work closely with students, families, and staff to create a supportive and understanding atmosphere. This is a term-time position, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of 14.25 - 15.25 per hour.The types of special educational needs you might be supporting can include: Autism (ASD), Asperger''s, Cerebral Palsy, behavioural challenges, and students working at below expected academic levels.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small group pastoral support.Implement effective behaviour management strategies and non physical de-escalation techniques.Offer support to students during challenging periods or transitions.Work in synergy with the SLT and SENCO to support the child in question. Liaise with families, external agencies, and school staff to ensure holistic support.Maintain accurate records of interven
