Learning Support Assistant - Primary School September 2026 Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Aspire People Have you worked with children but don''t have a Teaching Assistant qualification? Aspire People are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work within primary schools from September 2026.We''re particularly interested in people with experience working with children or young people in other settings. You don''t necessarily need a formal TA qualification if you can demonstrate the right transferable experience and a genuine understanding of working with children.This could be an excellent opportunity if you''ve previously worked as a youth worker, tutor, sports coach, mentor, childcare professional, children''s activity leader or have previous experience within a school. The Role May Include: Supporting pupils within the classroom Providing 1:1 and small-group support Assisting with Reading, Writing and Maths activities Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs Helping children remain engaged with their learning Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines Encouraging confidence, independence and social development Working closely with teachers and support staff We''re Looking For: Recent experience working with children or young people Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patient, supportive and adaptable approach Confidence working with different personalities and needs Genuine interest in working within a primary school ..... full job details .....
