A growing infrastructure and engineering business is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of electrical infrastructure and building services projects, including major schemes, HV installations and design-and-build contracts. You will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders, developing accurate cost estimates and identifying value engineering opportunities to support successful bids and profitable project delivery. Duties Prepare accurate cost estimates, prime cost estimates, quantity take-offs and schedules of rates for electrical infrastructure and building services projects. Manage tender submissions for pre-designed, design-and-build and major complex projects, ensuring client requirements and technical specifications are fully considered. Develop value engineering proposals and alternative solutions to improve cost efficiency, bid competitiveness and project profitability. Review drawings, bills of quantities, subcontractor quotations and supply chain costs, ensuring estimates are accurate and commercially competitive.
