An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant / Accounts Senior to join an accountancy practice providing accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services to small businesses.As a Senior Accountant / Accounts Senior, you will manage a portfolio of clients while overseeing technical work, supporting colleagues and providing accounting and tax advice.This is an office-based, full-time role based in Waterlooville, with 2 days work from home, offering a salary range of £44,000 - £50,000 for a 36.5-hour working week, plus benefits.You will be responsible for:Prepare and submit accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.Lead, train and mentor the accountancy team, reviewing work and providing technical guidance.Manage client relationships, onboarding, communications and record keeping.Assess clients tax positions and provide tax planning advice.Advise clients on cash flow, budgets, pricing and tax efficiency.Prepare and review bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS and statutory records.Liaise with HMRC, conduct client meetings, deliver training and maintain CPD requirements.Perform other duties as required.What we are looking for:Approx 5 years'' experience working within accountancy practice, managing a varied client portfolio and delivering client work.Full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body, such as AAT, ATT, ACA or ACCA.Ability to ..... full job details .....
