Search Consultancy is looking for skilled, experienced Dryliners to join an active commercial development in Durham. We are partnering with an established regional interior fit-out sub-contractor requiring reliable operatives for high-volume boarding, studwork, and plasterboard fixing.

If you have a valid CSCS card, full professional drylining kit, and a proven track record delivering clean, precise installation work, we have immediate starts available.

The Role

• Studwork & Metal Framework: Setting up metal stud partitions, wall linings, shaft wall systems, and suspended ceiling grids to technical drawings.

• Plasterboard Installation: Boarding walls, ceilings, and bulkheads using fire, acoustic, and moisture-resistant boards.

• Tacking & Fixing: Fixing plasterboards securely using drywall screws, ensuring flush joints and correct fixings spacing.

• Site Preparation: Measuring, cutting, and shaping boards accurately while keeping work areas safe and clean.

Requirements

• CSCS Card: Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker or Gold Card in Interior Systems / Drylining preferred).

• Experience: Time-served or qualified Dryliner with solid commercial or residential fit-out experience.

• Tools & Kit: Full drylining tool kit (cordless screw guns, board lifter, hand tools, stilts if applicable) and standard 5-point PPE.

• Reliability: Strong attention to detail, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a gang.

• Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
