Our client, a key player in the water sector, is currently seeking Civil Design Engineers with experience in water projects to join their team on a contract basis. This role covers a variety of AMP8 projects, particularly focusing on United Utilities and Anglian Water non-infra projects as well as some infra projects across the UK.Key Responsibilities:Designing and developing civil engineering solutions for water sector projectsWorking on a variety of AMP8 projects, including both non-infra and infra worksCollaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project successProviding technical expertise and input throughout project lifecyclesUtilising industry-leading software to deliver high-quality designsConducting site visits and assessments when necessaryEnsuring all designs comply with regulatory and safety standardsWorking flexibly and remotely, with a preference for those able to visit the Manchester office when requiredJob Requirements:Experience in civil engineering within the water sectorAbility to work on a range of AMP8 projectsExpertise in designing both non-infra and infra water projectsProficiency with relevant civil design softwareStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesFlexibility to work remotely and travel as neededCivil engineering degree or equivalent qualificationBenefits:Opportunity to work on varied and interesting AMP8 projectsFlexible and remote working conditionsSix-month contract wit
