Plant Manager Altera Recruitment Group is supporting a specialist renewable energy business in the search for a Plant Manager to lead the operation of a Power plant in Lincolnshire. This is a key leadership position with responsibility for the safe, efficient and commercially successful operation of the plant. Reporting to the Project Director, the successful candidate will oversee site operations, maintenance, financial performance and personnel, while working closely with stakeholders across the wider business. The role would suit an experienced power industry professional with a strong technical background, proven people management skills and a clear understanding of operational performance, health and safety, and environmental compliance. Experience within biomass or renewable baseload power generation would be particularly advantageous. Key Responsibilities of the Plant Manager Lead the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the plant, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, environmental permits, site licences and contractual obligations. Optimise plant availability, production planning and long term asset performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and commercial returns. Oversee operational budgets, business plans, financial reporting and performance monitoring, implementing corrective actions where required.
