Disrepair Surveyor needed in South west London Paying £296.38 per day ref Full time hours on a temporary basisKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out thorough surveys of residential properties to identify defects, HHSRS issues, and disrepair risks.Diagnose root causes of damp, mould, leaks, structural issues, and other property-related concerns.Prepare clear, detailed reports outlining findings, required works, schedules of repair, and estimated costs.Manage disrepair cases from instruction through to resolution, ensuring timely and effective action.Work collaboratively with legal teams on Section 11 and Housing Disrepair claims, providing expert evidence when required.Liaise with contractors, repairs teams, and residents to ensure works are completed to a high standard.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Landlord and Tenant Act, Housing Act, and health and safety regulations.Maintain accurate records, photographs, condition reports, and updates in relevant case management systems.Attend court hearings or case conferences as required to support legal processes.Provide professional technical advice to colleagues, residents, and stakeholders.If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to quoting the reference number.
