An amazing mental health school in Oxford are looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to join their team starting either asap or for the new year. They look after students between the ages of 11 and 18, all of which have been identified as struggling with social, emotional and mental health needs.Many of these students come from tricky backgrounds, and have never been modelled healthy ways to process and regulate their feelings and emotions. This school are looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to come in and work on conflict resolution, behaviour support plans and mental health support plans. Many of these students are also seeing multi-disciplinary professions and need support facilitating the intervention plans that have been put in place. Your role as a Behaviour Support Worker will be to: Work on healthy coping strategiesProvide a safe and encouraging environment where students can express their feelings and emotions, but also work through themSupport with any conflict resolutionProvide feedback to teachers and other professionals working with the studentsEnsure that the students feel supported and are able to access their educationKey qualities for a Behaviour Support Worker: Positive attitudeUp for a challengePatientUnderstand the importance of safeguardingMust have an Enhanced DBS or be
