Our client are a global leader in security scanning systems and currently experiencing high levels of growth. As such, they are seeking an additional Frame Assembly Technician/Welder to join their production team
 

The Role:
This role involves the precise assembly and TIG welding of components with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembly and fabrication of large X-ray tubes, involving all aspects of the welding process

• Ensure compliance with safety standards (HSE, COSHH, compressed gases).

• Maintain a contamination-free cleanroom environment.

• Support manufacturing engineers with process improvements.

• Contribute to the development of work instructions and checklists.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Extensive cleanroom and TIG welding experience.

• Strong attention to detail and clean assembly practices.

• Ability to coach and develop new welders.

• Independent, disciplined, and proactive work approach.

• Knowledge of compressed gas handling.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern:

• Initial training: Day shift (Monday–Friday)
• Post-training: Alternating Early/Late Shifts
  • Early: Mon–Thu 06:00–14:00, Fri 06:00–13:30
  • Late: Mon–Thu 14:00–22:00, Fri 13:30–21:00
• Shift Premium: 20% for rotating shifts
