Job Title: Senior Support Worker / Support WorkerLocation: Leyland, LancashireRole Overview:We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a dynamic team in a role that involves supporting adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities and behavioural challenges, in a community setting. Your focus will be on promoting independence, providing high-quality, person-centered care, and making a real difference in the lives of those you support.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct support to adults with learning disabilities and complex behavioural needs.Promote independence, personal development, and well-being through tailored support plans.Assist individuals with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and empowerment.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that individuals receive the best possible care.Support individuals to engage in meaningful community activities and develop life skills.Monitor and report on the well-being and progress of service users, adapting care plans as needed.Senior Support Workers may be expected to take on additional responsibilities, such as supervising and mentoring junior staff, managing shifts, and supporting with training.Shift Pattern:Full-time, 37 hours per weekA combination of early (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and late (4:00 PM - 11:00 PM) shifts2 sleep-in shifts per week (paid at 65 per s
