Quantity SurveyorWe have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable tier 1 main contractor based in Southampton. The business has recently opened a new regional office, and is expanding their presence on the South Coast. They operate across several sectors including education, healthcare, commercial, labs and leisure valuing up to 75mil. Projects are a mix of competitively tendered and framework schemes and predominantly across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire and Surrey.As a result of an upcoming project on the Isle of Wight, they''re now looking to bring an additional Quantity Surveyor into the team. About the role of Quantity Surveyor: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working with a Senior Quantity Surveyor on an upcoming 65mil project on the Isle of Wight. You will be working on the project from pre-construction. Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor: Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tendersProcurement / management of sub-contractor packagesDeal with final accounts Contribute to CVRsLiaise with the clients teams Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role: Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNCHave experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account Be proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NECMust live in a commutable location to Isle of WightMust have the full right to work in the UK Whats on offer for this Quantity Surveyor role: Competitive salary Car ..... full job details .....
