• A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
• Previous experience in a town planning role, ideally at Senior Planner level
• Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy and development processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with a range of stakeholders

• Manage and coordinate planning applications from initial stages through to determination
• Provide planning advice and support on a range of residential and commercial development projects
• Undertake planning research, site appraisals and policy assessments
• Liaise with local planning authorities, consultants, landowners and other key stakeholders
• Prepare planning statements, reports and supporting documentation
• Monitor changes in planning policy and legislation, advising on their potential impact on projects
• Support the delivery of development projects in line with planning requirements and business objectives
