We are delighted to be working with a leading higher education organisation is looking for a Senior Plumbing and Heating Technician to join its in-house Estates and Facilities Maintenance team. The organisation operates a large and varied estate, including academic buildings, student accommodation, laboratories, offices, sports facilities, plant rooms and communal areas. You will help ensure that these facilities remain safe, comfortable, efficient and fully operational for students, staff and visitors. About Your New Job As a Senior Plumbing and Heating Technician, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and improvement works across the organisation s buildings and facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining plumbing, heating and associated mechanical systems in a safe, efficient and compliant condition. Your duties will include: Maintaining and repairing domestic and commercial plumbing and heating systems. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to reactive maintenance requests. Diagnosing faults across hot and cold-water systems, heating systems, pumps, valves, tanks, cylinders, sanitaryware and associated plant. Maintaining systems in academic buildings, student residences, communal areas, plant rooms and other campus facilities. Carrying out statutory inspections and testing where appropriately qualified and authorised.
