The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will be able to:
• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support strategies
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to meet individual learning needs
• Adapt activities and approaches to suit different abilities and learning styles
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ emotional and social development
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
