Residential Support Worker Salary: £31,370 (with Level 3/4 Diploma Children, Young People and Families) or £30,143 (without qualification) Sleep-In: £71.28 Contract: Full-time, rota-based Location: LE67 About the Role We are seeking a caring, resilient and committed Residential Support Worker to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. Your role is to provide high-quality care, guidance, and support helping each young person feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve their full potential. You will act as a positive role model, build trusting relationships, and support young people through both daily routines and challenging moments. Key Responsibilities -Direct Care and Support Deliver consistent, nurturing care in line with the Children s Act 1989, Children s Homes Regulations 2015, and Every Child Matters framework. Provide 1:1 emotional and practical support, especially during times of stress or crisis. Create a safe, supportive environment that protects young people from harm. Support with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and establishing healthy routines. Act as a key worker/co-worker, ensuring care plans are followed, reviewed, and updated.
