Occupational Therapist

Remedy are looking for an experienced,-passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to work with children with a range of special needs,-focusing on assessment, intervention, and creating therapeutic plans.-The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educational professionals, and may also include providing training.-
Role and responsibilities:-
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, develop individualised intervention plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to children with various needs.-
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and other professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to care-
Provide training and support to schools, families, and other staff on best practices for supporting children''s occupational therapy needs-
Manage a caseload of children, meeting on a regular basis, providing ongoing support and monitoring their progress throughout the academic year
Develop and utilise specialist skills in areas such as sensory integration,-or other relevant interventions.-
Requirements:
Registered Occupational Therapist with a relevant degree or equivalent
Experience working with children, particularly those with complex needs, is preferred
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills are essential
Desirable:-
Experience in specific areas like SEN, schools, or specific interventions-
