Power Systems Engineer - PSCAD London/ Remote SOS is recruiting for a highly skilled Power System Engineer for an international Wind Energy Developer . The role is offered on a Contract basis with an initial period of 6 months. Description: The role will support projects at various phases by conducting studies. Scope includes: Create and validate EMT and RMS models for relevant assets (e.g., WTG, PPC, STATCOM, as applicable). Plan and execute design and Grid Code compliance studies, small disturbances and fault scenarios. Draft clear, audit-ready technical documentation for internal review and external compliance; contribute to grid-connection workstreams. Interface with OEMs on model provisioning, validation, and parameterization. Summarize findings, recommend mitigations, and ensure quality in line with Ørsted standards across multiple projects. Requirements Degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering (BEng/MSc/PhD) or equivalent. At least 5 years hands-on experience with PSCAD for EMT studies, including applicable add-ons and analysis modules, plus required experience with DIgSILENT PowerFactory covering steady-state and RMS analyses. Experience working with vendor models and parameterization for compliance. Scripting/automation skills for workflows and post-processing.
