InterQuestPosted 2 days agoDevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes expereince and ideally expereince of virtualisation projects is needed to support our Higher Education client to implement infrastructure as code pipelines for deploying research-supporting applications within social science applications.The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing infrastructure as code pipelines for deploying research-supporting applications and associated services on private cloud (on-prem) infrastructure using Virtual Machines and Kubernetes.Responsibilities

Experience deploying applications with KubernetesExperience implementing CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Infrastructure as Code development (Terraform).Ability to liaise with end-users to gather requirements, ensuring that application deployments meet their needs and that available resources are used efficiently.Expereince of working on Virtualisation projects, awareness of VMwareExperience of using Ansible and GitHub.Knowledge of public/private cloudExperience within a Higher Education environment, particularly working with research/academic stakeholders to translate their requirements into technical solutions.Knowledge of python and Rstudio or Rancher or Kubernetes cluster on Harvester.Location and Compensation

Hybrid workign with 1-2 days per week on site in central LondonPay rate £510.00 per day inside IR35About InterQuest
