The Electrical Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Responsibilities Include: Report all health, safety and environmental concerns, near misses and incidents via the site reporting system. Comply with the site Safe System of Work; develop competence under the Safety Rules. To ensure that all electrical apparatus is correctly operated and maintained. Assist the Engineer to ensure plant apparatus, tools and equipment are calibrated to known standard To assist the Engineer with planning, preparing and executing method statements and risk assessments via the sites CMMS system. Assist the Engineer in maintaining all plant related computing and communications To assist the Engineer with planning, resourcing and supervising shut-down maintenance. To investigate Electrical faults on any part of the plant or apparatus in a timely manner. To ensure the availability and timely rectification of out of hours breakdowns / emergency repair service. Assist Engineer with arranging maintenance contracts for specialist apparatus or equipment. Participate in training
