Axon Moore are working with a well-established business operating across the UK to appoint a Property Accountant to look after part of their portfolio covering residential and commercial sectors. Over the last 15 years, they have amassed a portfolio of over 120 properties and this number keeps on growing. The role will hold responsibility for the service charge reporting, budgeting and reconciliation for a portfolio of commercial and mixed-use properties. You will join a team of 2 or 3 other Property Accountants, working within a larger team in Finance, to deliver a service to clients and their residents. Responsibilities include: Take responsibility of a portfolio of properties.Review and analyse expenditure including accruals and prepayments to produce budget vs. actual reports.Prepare service charge accounts and associated schedules for auditors and deal with any queries.Work with the Property team to establish annual service charge budgets.Prepare and process service charge invoices.Regular bank reconciliations.Assist with any queries from internal and external stakeholders in regard to the financial management of the properties.
