Principal Site Commissioning Engineer The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly experienced Principal Site Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of complex nuclear and highly regulated engineering projects.Working across a diverse portfolio of programmes, you will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development and design review through installation, testing, commissioning, operational readiness and final handover.This position offers the opportunity to work on nationally significant projects supporting critical infrastructure within the nuclear and defence sectors. Key ResponsibilitiesAs Principal Commissioning Engineer, you will:Lead commissioning activities across complex mechanical systems and plant.Develop commissioning strategies, plans and procedures.Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary commissioning teams.Support engineering design reviews, constructability assessments and installation readiness activities.Review mechanical engineering designs, AutoCAD drawings, calculations and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.Support detailed design and engineering assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.Deliver commissioning activities safely and in accordance with programme requirements.Oversee Integrated Systems Testing (IST).Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and final acceptance activities.Provide technical assurance throughout commissioning ..... full job details .....
