Vision for Education are looking to register Teaching Assistants with a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent, for primary schools based within the Pembroke area. You will be supporting children mainly within the Foundation Phase as either general classroom support or in small group settings. Through holding the Level 3 qualification you will also be able to work in Flying Start settings within schools if this is of interest to you. The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage although not essential.This role requires highly motivated, committed, passionate and resilient Classroom Support Assistants with great communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting the teacher alongside supporting the children throughout their day with various activities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparations, setting the space up for the day, helping manage classroom behaviour, and offering additional guidance to pupils who need extra help. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in everything they do.RequirementsThe desired Teaching Assistant will have: Experience of working with children, especially within a Foundation Phase setting.- Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or equivalent.- The ability to work independently and lead small groups of children.- The ability to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs.- An ability to work as part of a team.What we offer As a Teaching Assistant
