£38,000 – £45,000This is a wonderful opportunity to join my client, an innovative, long-established multidisciplinary consultancy, offering bespoke design services for a diverse range of projects across the civil engineering, planning, and landscape architecture fields. My client is on the lookout for an experienced, dedicated Senior Civil Engineer, capable of leading a growing team across a range of residential, commercial, and retail projects, based near the unofficial capital of Yorkshire, Leeds.

Responsibilities

Work on a diverse range of projects, across the public and private sectors, including Local Authorities

Complete, reviewing, and amending Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies with respect to a variety of projects

Producing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), Access Roads, Road Alignment, Highways, and Site Design, utilising the appropriate software packages (namely, AutoCAD and Civils 3D)

Leading high-profile projects, from initial inception through to successful delivery

Forging, maintaining, and managing client relations across the public and private sectors

Liaising with clients to ascertain project budgets and realistic timescales

Representing the company at design team meetings and site visits

Required skills and experience

Hold a Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant background)

Be a Chartered Civil Engineer, or actively working toward attaining Chartership Status

Extensive relevant experience within a consultancy setting

Experience in completing Site Design, Drainage Strategies, and Road Alignment for Planning Applications

Extensive working knowledge of the relevant software packages, to include InfoDrainage and Civils 3D

Desirable skills and experience

Live locally, already being familiar with the region

Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
