Assembler - Braintree, Essex - Day shift - 38 hours per week - Temp to Perm We are currently recruiting for an assembler to join a well-established manufacturing company in Braintree. This is a day-shift role offering long-term stability, on-the-job training eligibility for a company bonus scheme. Due to the location, candidates have their own transport. This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on, detailed work within a brand new, modern facility.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing and assembly of components to written work instructionsFollowing basic wiring diagrams and inspection proceduresUse of hand tools including side cutters, spanners, Allen keys and measuring equipmentMeasuring, cutting, stripping and soldering coloured cableHandling and assembling small, detailed componentsMasking and sandblasting componentsUltrasonic cleaning and preparation of moulds and componentsUsing vacuum systems to fill moulds with resinDetailed inspection work including checking for air bubbles, marks, inclusions, cracks, dents and scratchesWriting concessions and marking up works orders where requiredOccasionally moving finished items (up to 10kg) down a stairwellThe Ideal CandidateHave their own transportComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions preciselyConfident using hand tools and carrying out repetitive, detailed tasksFlexible approach with the ability to multitaskGood understanding of health and safe
