Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment is partnering with a leading fashion retailer to recruit an ambitious Department Manager for this exciting new venture. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven retail leader who enjoys being hands-on, developing people and creating an exceptional customer experience.

As Department Manager, you''ll take ownership of your department, leading your team to deliver strong sales, outstanding service and excellent operational standards. You''ll be highly visible on the shop floor, using your commercial awareness and leadership skills to maximise performance and create an engaging environment for both customers and colleagues.

What You''ll Be Doing

As Department Manager, you''ll play a key role in establishing and driving the success of the new concept by:

• Taking ownership of your department''s sales, KPIs and overall performance.

• Leading, coaching and motivating your team to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Driving sales, conversion and commercial performance through a strong shop-floor presence.

• Creating an inspiring and engaging customer experience that reflects the brand.

• Managing stock, merchandising and visual standards within your department.

• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of your team.

• Monitoring performance and using commercial insight to identify opportunities for growth.

• Maintaining excellent operational, compliance and health & safety standards.

• Working closely with the wider management team to help make the new concept a success.

What We''re Looking For

We''re looking for an energetic, commercially focused Department Manager who thrives in a fast-paced fashion environment.

You''ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Department Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor or similar retail leadership role.

• Experience within fashion, lifestyle or another fast-paced customer-focused retail environment.

• A strong track record of delivering sales and KPI performance.

• Excellent leadership and people-development skills.

• A passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.

• A hands-on approach and the confidence to lead from the shop floor.

• The ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same.
