KS1 Tutor

We''re looking for a KS1 Tutor to support young learners across Dorset through personalised 1:1 tuition.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll provide tailored support to children in Key Stage 1 who may require alternative educational provision or additional help to engage with learning. Many of the pupils we support benefit from a nurturing and creative approach that helps develop confidence, strengthen core skills, and foster a positive relationship with education.

This is a rewarding opportunity for education professionals who enjoy working with younger children and helping them achieve important developmental milestones.

• Pay Rate: -2530 per hour

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
• Experience supporting children within KS1 or primary education
• Good understanding of early literacy and numeracy development
• Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate sessions
• Experience supporting children with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient, positive, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within Dorset
