Routine Platform Maintenance

Apply security patches to infrastructure and servicesPerform regular backups and validate backup integrityRotate SSL/TLS certificates and other secrets as requiredMonitor platform health and apply basic remediations

Infrastructure Hygiene and Upkeep

Clean up unused or legacy infrastructure componentsMaintain and update internal runbooks and technical documentation

CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance

Review and standardise pipeline configurations (GitLab, ArgoCD)Troubleshoot and resolve basic build/deploy failuresCreate reusable pipeline templates or automation scriptsIdentify and automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g. Bash, Python)

Investigation and Troubleshooting

Investigate and resolve back-end and infrastructure production issuesTroubleshoot technical issues or questions reported by customers

Key Skills

Experience operating distributed systems at scaleExcellent external and internal communication skills and team collaborationWorking knowledge of databases and SQLStrong capability with infrastructure with AWS, Kubernetes and TerraformGood understanding of DNS, CI/CD workflows and infrastructure as codeObservability experience (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)Development experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., Java)Diligence, quality-focused, and analytical skillsProactive in contributing to organisational success
