Please note: Previous experience working within an educational setting is essential for this role. The Role You will lead and develop the school s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure and effective ICT services to support teaching, learning and administration. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing the Academy IT Services team. Managing and maintaining school networks, servers, hardware, software and IT systems. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, escalating where necessary. Planning and implementing ICT upgrades and infrastructure improvements. Managing cybersecurity, firewalls, backups, disaster recovery and internet filtering. Ensuring compliance with GDPR and supporting safeguarding requirements. Maintaining IT asset registers, conducting audits and managing supplier relationships. Providing technical support, guidance and training to staff.
