Our client, an Oil and Gas Operator based in Uxbridge are looking for a Legal Counsel on a staff basis.ROLE Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their International Legal Team based in Uxbridge.As part of the Iegal group, this role provides legal support and advice to some of the most important and significant energy projects around the world, including host government negotiations, joint venture agreements, acquisition and divestment agreements, material commercial contracts, compliance issues and potential disputes. The role is primarily focused on conventional oil and gas, although there may be some scope to support on the Company s net zero activities.The individual will support several business groups across the organisation and will be fully integrated within the Legal, Compliance and Corporate Governance team.RESPONSIBILITIES:The Legal Counsel will report to the Managing Counsel International and provide support to key stakeholders across the business, including: Supporting exploration growth strategy by advising on bid rounds, above ground risk reviews, due diligence (including both legal and commercial) data purchase agreements, joint bidding arrangements, host government contracts and joint operating agreements.Supporting acquisition growth strategy by advising on confidentiality agreements, due diligence (including both legal and compliance) and transaction documents (including farmout agreements, carry agreements, asset purchase agreements, share purchase
