We''re seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Team Leader to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Systems Engineering and QA. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the day-to-day management of Systems Engineering activities for the development and delivery of Air Traffic Control simulation products and services. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills, ensuring successful project delivery while continuously improving team quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

Manage, monitor, and control all operational and strategic activities of the Systems Engineering TeamHandle resourcing and task allocation for all Systems Team activitiesConduct regular one-to-one reviews with team members to set objectives and manage development plansMonitor performance and provide constructive feedback to drive team growthIdentify and resolve capability or knowledge gaps within the team skill setTechnical ExcellenceAnalyse customer specifications to drive implementation and acceptanceProduce specifications, approve solutions, and provide technical guidanceServe as subject matter expert for complex systems engineering challengesDerive requirements on system components to fulfil customer needsPrepare detailed requirements specifications to control software development and testingBusiness Development and InnovationSupport Sales and Marketing with technical responses, compliancy responses, and estimationsKeep up to date with market and technological trends in ATC/ATM simulationDrive a culture of continual improvement through lessons learned and best practicesInput to and oversee execution of Engineering plans for successful project acceptanceQuality and ComplianceEnsure compliance with the Quality Management System for Systems Engineering processesProvide quality management information including KPIs for productivity, quality, and schedule adherenceMonitor and improve departmental activities and performance metricsChampion continuous improvement initiatives across the teamWho Are You?

Degree level qualification or equivalent10+ years'' experience in Systems Engineering disciplineStrong knowledge of Systems Engineering practices, processes, methods, and toolsExperience with requirements engineering and solution architectingDeep understanding of ATC/ATM environmentKnowledge of complete Software Development Lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall)Experience preparing detailed requirements specificationsUnderstanding of requirements management toolsExperience in software application development lifecycle and managementStrong MS Office skills and overall IT proficiencyAbility to travel overseas as requiredExperience/knowledge of ATC operations, training, and general aviationFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and TickIT quality standardsExperience managing multi-disciplinary teamsKnowledge of simulation and training systemsPerks of Joining Micro Nav
