We''re looking for a Software Acceptance & Delivery Lead to support the delivery of cutting?edge capability into the product line and future systems. What you''ll be doing

• Leading software release planning, ensuring plans remain accurate and aligned throughout each release cycle.
• Creating and managing software and system acceptance and delivery plans, along with all supporting documentation.
• Making informed engineering decisions within your delegated authority.
• Managing and coordinating multiple functional teams and stakeholders across several concurrent projects.
• Acting as the primary engineering point of contact for customers and suppliers, resolving complex issues and maintaining alignment on priorities and objectives.
• Overseeing budget management and delivering accurate end?of?month reporting across multiple projects.

Your skills and experience
Essential

• Experience operating within a large, complex multi?project environment, with strong configuration management, problem?solving skills, and technical domain knowledge.
• Understanding of System Design Specifications, technical documentation, and the ability to lead integration, performance testing, system testing, acceptance, and delivery activities.
• Strong knowledge of LCM, engineering lifecycles, systems engineering methodologies, and associated tools, with the ability to plan and execute release activities from initiation to completion.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, with clear and confident communication across management, peers, and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in budget management and end?of?month financial reporting.

Desirable

• Knowledge of Naval Combat System products.

Professional development

Candidates are encouraged and supported to achieve Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status through recognised professional institutions. Preference will be given to applicants who are already professionally registered.
