We''re currently recruiting for an experienced-Roofer-to join a well-established social housing maintenance contractor. This is a permanent role covering-South East London, South West London, Croydon, Dartford, Brighton, and Kent, carrying out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and void works across occupied and vacant properties.

The Role

As a Roofer, you''ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of roofing repairs and maintenance works, ensuring properties are left safe, weatherproof, and completed to a high standard. You''ll be working within occupied homes, so excellent workmanship and customer service are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned roofing repairs on social housing properties.
• Diagnose roof defects and identify appropriate repair solutions.
• Repair and replace roof tiles, slates, felt, leadwork, flashing, ridge tiles, and guttering.
• Carry out flat roofing repairs, including felt and liquid roofing systems.
• Repair and replace fascias, soffits, rainwater goods, and roofline components.
• Identify and rectify roof leaks and carry out associated remedial works.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Complete job reports accurately using handheld devices where required.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied properties.
• Work independently to achieve daily targets and meet KPI requirements.

What We''re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Roofer within responsive repairs or maintenance.
• Previous experience working in-social housing-is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems.
• Ability to diagnose roofing faults and complete high-quality repairs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
