Overview

Supplier Quality Lead required for a global engineering and manufacturing leader, with multiple worldwide locations employing 1000+ staff and renowned for quality and innovative deliverables.The successful Supplier Quality Lead will be able to commute to Huddersfield from surrounding towns and cities, including Leeds, Dewsbury, Halifax, Wakefield and Brighouse.Key Responsibilities

Lead the Supplier Quality and Goods Inwards inspection team ensuring agreed standards are maintainedCreate, implement and deliver supplier strategiesAttend supplier visits and conduct audits to verify their ability to meet internal and external demands and regulatory requirementsEnsure suppliers consistently follow approved programs for manufacturing, packaging, documentation and other operational processesDrive improvements within the supplier base using PFMEA and APQP toolsDevelop and manage non-conformance processes including containment, screening, root cause analysis and corrective actionsNurture relationships with the supplier base and support the onboarding of new suppliersCandidate Requirements

Experience as a Supplier Quality Lead or similar within an engineering or manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and other industry standardsExperience mitigating risks, conducting root cause analysis and corrective actionsKnowledge of ERP systems such as SAP (preferable)Salary and Benefits

£60,000 - £65,000 + 10% Bonus (depending on company and personal performance)Flexible working hours37.5 hours per week25 days annual leave + Bank holidaysCompany pension contributions of up to 8%Security and Compliance
