What You''ll Be Doing Designing and delivering high-quality firmware for complex digital and FPGA-based systems Translating system requirements into detailed firmware requirements and architectures Developing firmware using model-driven engineering approaches (MATLAB/Simulink) Working across the full development life cycle within a structured, safety-critical environment Collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams, including systems, hardware, and software engineers What We''re Looking For Essential Skills andamp; Experience FPGA and firmware design using tools such as Xilinx, TCL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM Experience with FPGA architectures including Xilinx 7 Series, UltraScale, Intel (Altera), or Microsemi (Actel) High-speed interfaces: PCIe, Ethernet, JESD Model-driven engineering and auto-generated code (MATLAB/Simulink) Structured firmware development approaches (eg RTCA DO-254 or similar) Knowledge of cryptography and anti-tamper techniques Exposure to AI techniques, including machine learning
