We are looking for a senior or head veterinary nurse to join the team! The very best equipped surgery for General Practice, Blackheath Veterinary Surgery is a leading and progressive practice in South East London.

We celebrate achievements, and you may even join us at the local pub for a pub quiz now and then to test the brain cells. We have a wide range of equipment and facilities to support high standards of care.

Digital X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Laparoscopic facilities, Microscope, Ultrasound, In-House Lab, Endoscope, and Stem Cell Treatment.

Imotek unit and Karl Storz scopes available.

Location and transport: Blackheath and Greenwich area with good transport links (Overground: Westcombe Park 0.09 miles; Underground: North Greenwich 1.28 miles) and numerous bus routes.

Salary: Up to £37,000 (note: depending on experience for some roles).

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of nursing tasks with variety day-to-day.

Contribute to a progressive practice with animal welfare at the heart of all we do.

Support career progression and team development within a collaborative environment.

Work a full-time schedule with 1:4/5 Saturdays (8:30am–2:00pm) and no on-call or out-of-hours requirements.

We have excellent equipment including Digital X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Laparoscopic Facilities, Microscope, Ultrasound, In-House Lab, Endoscope, and Stem Cell Treatment. We also have the Imotek unit and Karl Storz scopes.

There are opportunities for career progression and forming a strong nursing team. This is a full-time role with a schedule of 40 hours per week, 1:4/5 Saturdays (8:30am–2:00pm) with a day off in lieu for working Saturdays. No on-call or out-of-hours shifts.
