As part of our welcoming and highly professional Estate team, you''ll make their experience special. This is a real chance to make a lasting impression and inspire our visitors to Highgrove.We are looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team in the Orchard Room, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and profitably to Highgrove standards, while maintaining our reputation for high quality food.This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week (but more at busy times): five days a week, worked over a seven-day period, to include some weekends bank holidays and occasional evenings. Time off in lieu will be accrued during our peak season (April to October) and this can be used in our quieter times, including Christmas when we are closed.Your passion will be for fresh, seasonal, and local produce. You will be required to prepare and deliver fully costed menus in line with Highgrove principles as well as ensuring consistent teamwork, motivating and positively influencing staff.You will need experience of working in a position within a high-profile busy environment as well as managing a team.
