DESIGN ENGINEER

The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development

of cutting-edge equipment, from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for light construction equipment.
• Produce detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and quality.
•  Ensure designs meet relevant safety, regulatory, and performance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline qualifications.
• Proven experience in a design engineering role (ideally within manufacturing or construction equipment)
• Proficiency in CAD software, e.g. SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical principles.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
