You''ll develop practical, cost-effective solutions and manage designs from the initial customer requirement through to approval and handover for delivery. Our client specialises in the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of wastewater pumping systems. Supporting construction, commercial and industrial customers, the business delivers projects ranging from packaged pumping stations to bespoke installations, alongside ongoing servicing and emergency repairs. It is looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced engineer who can provide reliable technical support to customers. As Technical Design and Estimating Engineer you''ll combine engineering design, estimating and customer coordination. Responsibilities include: Reviewing customer requirements and project specifications to develop suitable pumping-system designs. Producing CAD drawings, layouts, manufacturing drawings and technical specifications. Selecting pumps, motors, controls and associated components. Completing hydraulic calculations to support system sizing and performance. Preparing estimates covering materials, labour and installation.
