PlumberROLE: Plumber PAY RATE: £19.00 per hour PAYECONTRACT TYPE: Temporary - August to November 2026LOCATION: EdinburghTHE ROLE: The successful candidate will carry out basic plumbing repairs, maintenance and PPM activities across the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh site.You will respond to reactive maintenance requests, diagnose and rectify minor plumbing faults, and ensure plumbing systems and fixtures are maintained safely and effectively. The role will involve working closely with site and facilities management teams while minimising disruption to building users.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out basic plumbing repairs and maintenance across the site. Repair and replace taps, toilets, sinks, pipework and associated plumbing fixtures. Diagnose and rectify minor plumbing faults. Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks as assigned. Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures. Maintain accurate records of works undertaken. Liaise with site teams and FM colleagues to minimise disruption to building users. Follow all relevant health and safety regulations, site procedures and company policies.
