With their overhaul engineering function transitioning inhouse, our client has commissioned the build of a state of the art overhaul facility which will be the first of its kind for their business.The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for implementing key facility infrastructure whilst ensuring operational efficiency through effective maintenance. During the early stages of the project, the Maintenance Engineer will define the facilities systems/ equipment s layout, specifications for equipment and systems and also compile maintenance procedures. After this initial phase, these responsibilities shift to continuous improvement.Key responsibilities:The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for managing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and continuously optimising equipment reliability. The role includes reviewing facility design, planning materials and external services, providing technical support, and maintaining the technical library. They will monitor resource usage, conduct audits, and develop reports to improve performance.
