Estimator

Are you an experienced Estimator looking to join a market-leading principal contractor delivering complex demolition, earthworks and civil engineering projects across some of the UK''s most challenging sectors?

Our client is a highly respected contractor with a strong reputation for safely delivering large-scale demolition, remediation and enabling works projects nationwide. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction team.

Location: Nottinghamshire / East Midlands

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (DOE) + package

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Review tender documentation, specifications and drawings
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Undertake site visits and risk assessments
• Develop pricing strategies and value engineering solutions
• Liaise with operational, commercial and bid teams
• Support negotiations and client presentations where required
• Maintain accurate estimating records and cost databases

What We''re Looking For

• Proven estimating experience within demolition or civil engineering (3+ years).
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office packages
