Full-time | Permanent | Monday–Friday + 1 in 4 Saturdays

The Role

We’re looking for a Parts Advisor to join a busy car dealership in Bury St Edmunds. You’ll support the service and workshop teams, handle customer enquiries, and manage parts orders to keep the dealership running smoothly.

Duties

• Handle customer and workshop parts enquiries (phone, email, counter)
• Order, stock, and issue car parts to the service and sales teams
• Upsell additional parts, accessories, and service products
• Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out inventory checks
• Provide excellent customer service to retail and trade customers
• Support dealership admin processes related to parts

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor (car dealership or motor trade)
• Good knowledge of car parts and automotive systems
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• IT literate (dealer management systems experience preferred)
• Full UK Driving Licence desirable
