Buyer - Precision Engineering - Bedford - up to £40,000 plus benefitsHello Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting a Buyer for a rapidly expanding market leading engineering business based in Bedford.As Buyer you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and be in charge of purchasing all company materials whilst ensuring optimal delivery performance , maintaining standards and where possible driving cost efficiencies.The role will encompass most facets of the buying/purchasing remit including :Supplier ManagementNegotiation and ValueOperational SupportPerformance and RiskInventory and LogisticsSystems and Data Sustainability and ReportingCollaboration and Improvement The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Purchasing and Global logistics from an engineering background with proficiency in MS Office skills. Good data analytical skills with a methodical way of working coupled good problem solving skills and a desire to get the job done to the best of your ability are essential.Familiarity with a CRM and ERP System would be advantageous but full training will be provided.If you are a strong team player with a focus on customer service and drive to succeed then this role with a salary of up to £40,000 plus benefits could be your opportunity to progress your career in 2026.
