You will support the Quality Manager for maintaining and continuously improving quality strategies to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained. Quality Engineer - Role and Responsibilities Ensure compliance to company procedures Process control and capability studies Liaise with other sites to ensure common systems are developed Ensure conformance to ISO9001 standard and other customer requirements Adopt / implement proactive actions to obtain internal improvements Champion use of approved tools and techniques to solve problems and develop processes Report corrective action for non conformances (internal/external) Analyse and report on cost of quality Ensure quality approval is obtained for suppliers and sub-contractors Ensure auditing is carried out on both product and process (internal/external) Ensure appropriate process control and capability studies are in place Development of skills based training for employees including SPC, auditing, problem solving and FMEA Carry out benchmarking exercises in pursuit of implementing quality best practice.
