About the Role:
As the PMLD SEN Teacher, you will design and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each pupil. Youandrsquo;ll work within a close-knit, multidisciplinary team including teaching assistants, therapists, and families, fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment where every child can thrive.

- Plan and deliver creative, accessible lessons for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, adapting strategies to meet evolving needs
- Collaborate closely with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure holistic support for each child
- Champion best practices and contribute to ongoing professional development within the team
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils with PMLD, complex needs, or related SEN backgrounds
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for making a genuine difference in the lives of children with profound additional needs
